Fresh Olives Available Now

As summer winds down and kids head back to school, something exciting is happening in our orchards—fresh olives are growing, and harvest season is just around the corner.

For us at Penna Olives, this time of year means careful planning, coordination, and plenty of hard work. For you, it’s the perfect moment to dust off your curing supplies—or maybe stock up on new ones—so you’re ready to cure even more olives this season. If you’re new to home-curing, don’t worry! We recommend starting with this helpful guide from the University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources.

Earlier this year, our trees had a heavy bloom, promising a strong harvest. Unfortunately, strong winds came through and carried away much of the pollen. As a result, some orchards have a healthy olive count, while others are seeing lower yields than usual.

That said, we’re excited to share that Super Colossal Fresh Green Olives will be available this season, along with our standard sizes—Colossal, Jumbo, Giant, and more.

Pricing will be announced closer to the harvest and will depend on fruit availability and labour resources. As always, we are committed to keeping prices as affordable as possible while delivering the highest quality olives to our customers.
